A chance to listen to one of my own positive birth stories - the amazing arrival of my second child. For various reasons I had come out of my first pregnancy, labour and birth with a whole list of "risk factors" - gestational diabetes, postpartum haemorrhage, 3rd degree tear, "post dates" pregnancy. 

I had to work hard, both externally within the maternity system, and internally within myself, to plan and prepare for the intervention free birth that I always believed would be best for us both. Come and find out what happened!
