Yesterday afternoon (Tuesday), Budget 2026 was unveiled by Government - and the reaction has been mixed.

While there were VAT cuts for hospitality, business and apartment developers, perhaps the biggest criticism has come from 'the squeezed middle' , with some analysts saying a working couple with children will actually be worse off by about 75 euro.
