When Mike Carroll stopped by the shop last summer, we connected at the meet-and-greet event and arranged to speak before the end of the year. We landed on a “First & Last” interview format, and used this structure to explore his many decades in the game: his storied past beginning in the early days of San Francisco visitation and Embarcadero localisation through to his busy present, where he is just as dedicated to contributing to and supporting our culture.
