A Missouri congressman who represents mid-Missouri's Fulton and America's National Churchill Museum is confident the U.S. House will approve his bill to formally designate the museum as a historic landmark. U.S. Rep. Bob Onder (R) notes the U.S. Senate has approved the bill and that it's been approved by the U.S. House Natural Resources Committee. Congressman Onder tells 939 the Eagle's "Wake Up Missouri" that the bill is a critical step toward preserving Churchill’s legacy for future generations. He notes Fulton is where British Prime Minister Winston Churchill delivered his famous "Iron Curtain" speech in 1946, almost 80 years ago.
