Drew Talbert has always been drawn to making people laugh. He went the unconventional path and let go of “security” to run full force into his dream of being a comedian and working in improv. In today’s episode we talk about the courage to go down the unconventional path, why listening is the key in creativity, and how Jewel helped him get rid of “plan B”.

After being raised (and homeschooled) in Nashville, Drew graduated from Lipscomb University before moving to LA where he found an ideal home for his comedic talents at the world famous Groundlings, where he wrote and performed in their Sunday Company and currently teaches improv. 

He has acted in various commercials and films, and starred in "Right Side of the Tracks," a one man show at The Groundlings. He recently created a popular TikTok channel focused around his experiences as a long-time restaurant waiter. He and his wife, Andrea, and baby boy live in Los Angeles.
