In this episode I talked with award winning author and writing retreat host Janis Cooke Newman about her writing retreat, conference, co-working spaces, and other ways she supports writers.

 

I loved how she emphasizes helping emerging writers. We talked about how she pivoted to create more community in her events, how her business evolved organically by listening to what writers were asking for, and why she has writers share their work at her retreats only to applause.
