Little Pepper Muffin
Little Pepper Muffin has the two things that I enjoy the most. Those two things are children and food. It is heartwarming to see a child portrayed positively with goals and aspirations. This would be a good book to share with children of early childhood and elementary ages. Parents, teachers, and childcare professionals could use the book to open discussions about what their children enjoy doing at home or want to become when they grow up. The book also includes an easy to follow recipe for Pepper Muffins that readers can try for themselves. Finally, the little girl has a medical condition known as Muscular Dystrophy. This book would also be appropriate for opening discussions with young children about meeting goals even if there are physical or other obstacles.

Little Pepper Muffin is a heart-warming story that will encourage any child who is facing a difficult situation. You cannot forget the story once you read it. Children who struggle with any type of limitation will readily empathize with Pepper and admire her for her determination and confidence. Children who are not dealing with physical limitations will gain a new perspective on trying hard to reach a goal. Wonderful story.
