This is an adapted version of the old English Nursery Tale by Diana Ross. In this story, a Little Small Wee Tiny Man is sad that he lives alone. Several folks in the community stop by to check on him and see if they can move in. Most are too big for the Tiny Man’s home, but he eventually finds the perfect companion–an ant!

I love this story; most children find it endearing and silly. It also teaches a valuable lesson about the smallest creatures.

Every Purple Day, or Monday, we are inside the Schoolhouse for circle time and storytime.
