Hebrews 1:1–3

The Supremacy of God’s Son

[1] Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, [2] but in these last days

he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world.

[3] He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature (ESV)

[37] And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your

mind. [38] This is the great and first commandment. [39] And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as

yourself. [40] On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.” (ESV)

Hebrews 13:15–16

[15] Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that

acknowledge his name. [16] Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing

to God. (ESV)
