Brooklyn native, Hip-Hop MC, Dr. Def is a multi-talented artist who's been reportedly been writing and rhyming lyrics since the age of 12. Grown into a brutal society where a lot of different influences weren't always positive, Doctor Def takes it upon himself to introduce the old-school type of vibe to emit as his main influential source. Most of his favorite artists, and muses so-to-speak, are from the earlier era, or "Golden-Age of hip-hop" containing artists such as: A Tribe Called Quest, Big Punisher, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, and Kool Moe D, just to name a few.
