中国毛左网站上的一篇《刘亚洲要为谁“殉道”？》引发了对刘亚洲的大批判潮。但事实上这篇批判文章的主要“论据”，刘亚洲本人当年发表《我愿意做自由思想的殉道者》一文的初衷，恰恰是为了从“讲真话”的角度展示他自己的爱党之心和爱国情怀。
