You may have seen that California Governor Gavin Newsom was fact checked by a press staffer for Governor DeSantis
after he sent a tweet blaming the recently passed permitless carry bill for the
shooting yesterday in Hollywood, FL:

Turns out, that law had nothing to do with the shooting, as it has not yet taken effect.
