The May Fourth Square is a large public space in the central business district of Qingdao City, east China's Shandong Province. Its iconic sculpture, Wind of May, features a spiraling red design symbolizing patriotism. Surrounded by modern buildings, musical fountains and green spaces, the square faces the municipal government to the west and the sea to the east, serving both as a site of cultural commemoration and a venue for public recreation.
