Week 3: Different from the rest
Session 3 Purpose: To help students understand the definition of holiness and what it means to pursue holiness with their lives.
Scripture Passage: Psalm 77:13, Exodus 15:11, Revelation 15:4, Leviticus 19:2, 1 Peter 1:15-16, Hebrews 10:10
Teaching Point 1: God’s holiness refers to His “otherness,” the idea that He is completely apart from and above all things.
Teaching Point 2: As Christ-followers, we’re called to be holy too. We’re called to be set apart from the world and identified as God’s people.
Teaching Point 3: God see us as holy because the work Jesus did for us on the cross.
