Anxiety disorder is a common psychiatric condition that is often underdiagnosed and undertreated. This psychiatric condition may be accompanied by physical symptoms, and patients often present in primary care offices with physical rather than psychological complaints. This interview will focus on recognizing anxiety symptoms and formulating individualized treatment plans that use the most appropriate therapeutic strategies to address patients' physical and mental health care needs.
