You are called to Live in the Light. This teaching is part 12 in the “Let there be Light” series. Come experience the book of Genesis through the lens of the Light. The Lord is calling you to connect with Him in a deep and profound way through the Light.

Jacob lived in the light.

“28 And Jacob lived in the land of Egypt seventeen years; so the days of Jacob, the years of his life, were a hundred and forty-seven years.” (Genesis 47:28 RSV)

The light didn’t come from Egypt because Egypt was a land filled with darkness. The light came from Jacob because he lived his life in the light. The light came from within because of his unwavering commitment to God and Torah.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to live in the light.

“12 Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world; he who follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”” (John 8:12 RSV)
