Live in The Light

In this sermon, we uncover the truth that transformation doesn't come through comfort but through testing. God uses our difficult circumstances to result in our greatest blessings. Through the wisdom of Scripture, we'll see how God shapes our character and deepens our faith—not in the calm, but in the storm. Whether you're in a season of trial or just coming out of one, this message will encourage you to embrace God's refining work in your life. There are no shortcuts to spiritual maturity—transformation requires testing and dependence on the Lord.

The Incarnation is the greatest gift ever given to man. It was prophesied 700 years before it happened by the prophet Isaiah through the Spirit. The gift wasn't the child, but the Son of God. God came and lived among the people He created. This gift has eternal impact. Let this be your greatest gift this Christmas.

What does it mean to truly belong to the Lord? In Deuteronomy 7, God reminds His people of their identity, security, and spiritual blessing, not because of who they are, but because of who He is. As we walk through this passage, we'll see that the blessing of belonging to the Lord is utterly unmatched. There is nothing in this life—achievement, relationship, or possession—that can compare to the blessing of belonging to the Lord. As followers of Christ, we are constantly being called back to this identity: to remember who we are in Christ, to live for what truly matters, and to hold loosely the treasures of earth and cling tightly to the promises of heaven.

In this powerful message, Moses delivers one of the most important truths to God's people. Filled with urgency and love, Moses wants the next generation to avoid the failures of the past and walk fully in the blessing of God. We open our Bibles to Deuteronomy 6, where we find the bottom line, the most essential, most critical truth for experiencing God's favour. Moses won't enter the Promised Land himself, but he passionately points the people toward what truly matters: loving God with all your heart, soul, and strength. This is the theme passage for our series — Listen + Love — and in just three short verses, Moses gives us the core of what it means to live under God's blessing.

God sent His Son to redeem His people who were currently slaves to the law. Through Jesus we have been adopted as sons - we are now heirs to eternal life. We have been set free from the law, and now live by faith in the life, death and resurrection of the Saviour. Let this truth renew your vision, renew your worship and renew your joy.

In this new series, Listen + Love: Learning from the Last Words of Moses, Pastor Robbie unpacks Moses' strong exhortation in Deuteronomy 4 to "watch yourselves very carefully." Why? Because forgetfulness leads to faithlessness. Moses knows that Israel's greatest threat isn't an outside enemy—it's their own wandering hearts. This is a call to stay awake, stay anchored, and stay faithful; a timely and sobering reminder for all who follow the Lord: Watch yourselves!
