Hey! We are so excited to share our panel on Women in True Crime with you, recorded in Chicago during our trip over for the True Crime Podcast Festival. Our wonderful guests joined us for a truly fascinating discussion. We covered our thoughts on why women are the largest consumers of true crime, why the victim hood we cover is largely female and our guests feelings on the notion of 'glorifying' the subject matter and their responsibility towards the victims and survivors in the cases we cover. Massive thanks go to Kate, Alysa and Justin for being panellists, the audience for joining us and our listeners for sending us their questions. Also thanks to the Arrogant Frog for hosting us and sorting us out drinks! Appreciated. Thanks all, we hope you enjoy!Notes from this weeks episode:Kate's (Ignorance Was Bliss) bio: Kate has spent her entire professional life in the fields of mental health and criminal justice with a focus specifically in the fields of correctional psychology, forensic psychology, and crisis assessment.
