You may know Black Label from his viral interviews on No Jumper, VladTV, Soft White Underbelly, and Matthew Cox / Inside True Crime. But behind the viral clips, headlines, and stories is something much bigger:
Growing up as the only white kid in the predominantly Black Harbordale neighborhood of South St. Pete, Florida, Black learned early about reputation, loyalty, race, survival, and the realities of street life.
That road eventually led to drug trafficking, federal prison, and more than 15 years behind bars.
When Black finally came home, the world had changed.
No traditional résumé. No easy path forward. No guarantee that anyone would give a convicted felon another opportunity.
Black took the relationships, instincts, street intelligence, reputation, and ability to read people that he’d developed over a lifetime and transformed them into something legitimate.
That evolution became Black Label Services.
What began with providing security for local celebrities grew into celebrity protection, executive security, and VIP transportation nationwide.
