Today we look at the effects of Live Trading on the AFL in 2018 and beyond. In the past, you could 'know' who was going to be available at your selection. With live trading introduced, the draft is no longer about the team with the next pick, as ANY team can trade their way into that pick. We take time to unpick live trading, how it's done overseas and any trends that could shape our draft, and look at the different ways that it can and will effect the 2018 draft.
