Live (on Substack) interview with my partner Laurenzo (they/them), who is ALSO a LGBTQ+ content creator across multiple platforms. We discuss our joint venture, Queer Hangouts, a program we founded in 2023 to support LGBTQ+ youth in middle and high schools across Ohio. We also dive into how Queer Hangouts is Patreon-funded, so schools don’t have to pay for our visits. Additionally, we share our experience launching an online LGBTQ+ support group for queer adults (18+), emphasizing the importance of real-life conversations and mental health.
