A life in Freedom will not look a life where you are still chained. A new life in Christ is recognizing that He is the ONLY One that can fill the void that you used to try to fill in any in your old life. Friend, you are not your past, you are not the sin committed. Recognize that His grace allows us to move forward not seeking sin as our human nature does but seeking Him instead. That we desire Him because of who He is, and that we understand that it is only by Him that we are free and given a new life. You are not the feelings of your flesh, and you have hope in conquering temptation through the One who conquered death on the Cross. Jesus died with our sins, so we did not have to live a life chained by them. Live the new life you have in Christ.
