Commissioned by the BBC and Arts Council England to accompany Simon Schama's new BBC TV series The Power Of Art.

Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard present a series of 7 podcasts that document Liverpool. During 2006 the artists were regular visitors to the city, working on a major new project, Silent Sound, for the Liverpool Biennial. The installation was shown at A Foundation's new space at Greenland Street. During their frequent trips they have came to know Liverpool through the eyes of others, unofficial guides all providing unique insights and perspectives on a city in the process of dramatic cultural transformation.

Each episode will feature a single guide who will pull sharp focus onto a particular area of Liverpool. The podcasts will be available to subscribe or download as individual episodes from Iain and Jane's web site and various podcast directories including iTunes.
