Vijayadasa is a saint who lived during the 17th and 18th century and was part of the Haridasa tradition that formed from the Karnataka state of South India. As a Vaishnava, he set an example of self-sacrifice for the Lord by giving his whole life to the service of God. He is also remembered as being a great scholar of the Dvaita philosophy, a school of philosophy founded by Madhvacharya.
The story of Vijayadasa is taken from the book “Great Saints of South India” by author Sri Ravinuthala Sreeramulu.
It is our hope that his life and teachings can be a guide for your daily life. Enjoy.
