Sri Haribolananda Thakura is a saint famous for his chanting of "Haribol!" hence he was given the name "Haribolananda" by the people who knew him. Before singing the glories of Hari, Haribolananda had taken refuge at the feet of Maha Kali for spiritual guidance. After instruction to travel around all the Holy places in India, Haribolananda came back to Maha Kali and received Her Darshan, to which She explained to him that he must do Harinam and spread Harinam for salvation during the age of Kali.
