Pisi Ma Gosvamini is a saint remembered for her maternal service to both Gaura and Nitai. The deities that Pisa Ma served were fully alive, and often times the forms of Gaura and Nitai would appear to Pisi Ma asking her for what they needed. Like a child who asks the mother for they want.

Sri Gopesvara Gosvami is the devotee who was blessed with the responsibility to look after the deities when Pisi Ma grew older, and in a way, Gopesvara was a student of Pisi Ma Gosvamini.
