Sri Krishnaprema was born on May 10th 1898 in England. Originally born as Ronald Nixon, he served in World War 1 from which an experience that almost ended his life led him to the sacred land of India. Often considered to be one of the first Western Vaishnavas, Sri Krishnaprem had laid out the path for the Western world to adventure to India and adopt their way of life in order to truly realise God.
