Sri Nandakisora Dasa Gosvamipada was a saint in the lineage of Nityananda Prabhu, the closest associate of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. The saint was humble in every aspect of his life, as he felt that he was in no way special, he had hidden his identity in Vrindavan so that he may be accepted as a student. Though his lineage was later revealed, it did not change the saint's humility and the latter half of his life is characterized by his close relationship with Krishna.
