The rescue of mankind from the Enemy’s captivity was secured through Christ’s sacrifice on the cross. The cry of God’s heart through the ages of, “Let my people go!” finally became a spiritual reality when Christ escaped the hold of the grave, rising forever from the dead. But until the day comes when we are gathered to Christ, we must continue to live behind enemy lines.
