Mark 8:22 --- When they arrived at Bethsaida, some people brought a blind man to Jesus, and they begged him to touch the man and heal him. 23Jesus took the blind man by the hand and led him out of the village. Then, spitting on the man’s eyes, he laid his hands on him and asked, “Can you see anything now?”24The man looked around. “Yes,” he said, “I see people, but I can’t see them very clearly. They look like trees walking around.” 25Then Jesus placed his hands on the man’s eyes again, and made him look up. His sight was completely restored, and he could see everything clearly. 26Jesus sent him away, saying, “Don’t go back into the village on your way home.”

SEEING Your Life in Christ…SHAPES Who You Are!

1 Peter 2:9-10 NLT --- But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light. Once you had no identity as a people; now you are God’s people.

FILTER #1 - I Am Family

Ephesians 1:4 --- God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes.

Ephesians 1:5 --- God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do…

FILTER #2 - I Am Forgiven

Ephesians 1:7 --- He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins.

Isaiah 43:25 - “I am the God who forgives your sins, and I do this because of who I am. I will not hold your sins against you.”

Romans 3:24 --- …being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus…

FILTER #3 - I Am Royalty

How Do We Know We Are Reigning as Kings

#1 - When we obey God’s Word & follow the Holy Spirit.

#2 - When we reign over our own soul — our mind, will, and emotions.

#3 - When we are a Light in darkness and we are making a positive difference.
