May 22, 2022 . . .

Revisiting Hebrews 11:8-19, we continue to look at how we can build a life of faith. Remember that God promised Abraham many blessings and, through his faith and obedience, Abraham received the blessings. God speaks to us through the Bible. It is our job to listen and obey when we are called. Have you been too busy to hear? Whether you fully understand the what or why of it, if you are having a faith problem then you are probably having an obedience problem. We all have flawed priorities and usually are too attached to this world. Abraham knew this world was not his home and that he was just passing through. He obeyed God.  We often have struggles, trials, and temptations. And yes, our faith sometimes lapses. But God kept His promises to Abraham and He will keep them with you. Don’t look back to what you thought was good at one time, but look forward to the blessings that God has in store for you. It’s never too late . . . don’t wait! It begins with a step of Faith. Obey God’s call TODAY!
