For Jesus to walk the path that he did, faced with abandonment and suffering, meant that he lived a life of deep faith. He trusted that great Love was holding him and guiding him. We, too, are invited to lean into a faith that sustains us, when our circumstances and the world around us can seem so broken and bruised. Jessica reminds us that faith is not the absence of fear, or doubt, or pain, but that the love of God is the river that carries us through all of it.
