Gal 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer

2 Cor 5:7 For we walk by faith, not by sight.

James 1:22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers

only, deceiving yourselves.

We deceive ourselves if we do not “Do the Word”

1. To “Do the Word” you must REMEMBER the Word

2. To “Do the Word” you must PRACTICE the Word

a. James 1:25 But he who looks into the perfect

law of liberty and continues in it, and is not

a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work,

this one will be blessed in what he does

You can know about:

● Living right

● Tithing

● Walking in love

● Living by faith

● Healing

● Witnessing

Ez 33:30-32 "As for you, son of man, the children of your

people are talking about you beside the walls and in the

doors of the houses; and they speak to one another,

everyone saying to his brother, 'Please come and hear

what the word is that comes from the Lord.' 31 So they

come to you as people do, they sit before you as My

people, and they hear your words, but they do not do

them; for with their mouth they show much love, but

their hearts pursue their own gain. 32 Indeed you are to

them as a very lovely song of one who has a pleasant

voice and can play well on an instrument; for they hear

your words, but they do not do them.

1. People want to “Hear” the words from the

Lord...but they do not want to “Do” them.

2. I am going to do...I need to do...I have to start

doing...God’s been dealing w/ me about

doing...The Lord knows my heart...

3. We will be judged by our “Works” not our

intentions.

4. We will be held accountable for the

Light/Revelation that has been given to us.

5. Just because we know something doesn’t mean we

are doing something.

Matt 7:20-27 Therefore by their fruits you will know

them. 21 "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,'

shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the

will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in

that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your

name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many

wonders in Your name?' 23 And then I will declare to

them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who

practice lawlessness!' 24 "Therefore whoever hears

these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to

a wise man who built his house on the rock: 25 and the

rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew

and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was

founded on the rock. 26 But everyone who hears these

sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a

foolish man who built his house on the sand: 27 and the

rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew

and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its

fall."

Luke 6:46-49 "But why do you call Me 'Lord, Lord,' and

do not do the things which I say? 47 Whoever comes to

Me, and hears My sayings and does them, I will show

you whom he is like: 48 He is like a man building a

house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the

rock. And when the flood arose, the stream beat

vehemently against that house, and could not shake it,

for it was founded on the rock. 49 But he who heard

and did nothing is like a man who built a house on the

earth without a foundation, against which the stream

beat vehemently; and immediately it fell. And the ruin of

that house was great."

John 8:31-32 Then Jesus said to those Jews who

believed Him, "If you abide in My word, you are My

disciples indeed. 32 And you shall know the truth, and

the truth shall make you free."

Why would someone build their house w/o a

foundation...they are deceived

● Tithing

● Walking in love

● Living by faith

● Healing

● Witnessing

Luke 19:20-22 Then another came, saying, 'Master, here

is your mina, which I have kept put away in a

handkerchief. 21 For I feared you, because you are an

austere man. You collect what you did not deposit, and

reap what you did not sow.' 22 And he said to him, 'Out

of your own mouth I will judge you, you wicked servant.

You knew that I was an austere man, collecting what I

did not deposit and reaping what I did not sow.
