The Bible views happiness in a broader and bigger sense in which a happy life means a full life, a thriving life, a meaningful life; that there is a way that we can, through the tears and heartaches and losses and trials and suffering, be happy and live a happy life! God wants us to live bigger, not smaller lives; richer, not poorer lives.
