Sermon Podcast - "Creating Heaven on Earth". (1 John 4:7-15) We often think of love as a feeling or strong emotion that we have for another person, or even a pet. But in the Bible, love is more than a feeling, love is action. In the book of 1 John, love is one of the main themes. The writer talks about God being love and God’s love for us. He then reminds us that divine love is modeled for us in the life of Jesus. To be followers of Jesus means that we follow his example and make the divine love manifest on earth through our loving actions towards others.
