Dr. Tim Johnson begins our Advent series, Living In Holy Uncertainty, by looking at Luke 1:5-25.  Zechariah and his wife Elizabeth were devoted to God even though they lived in dark days; days of uncertainty. Like them we are to live with a loose grip or no grip on our plans. Instead we need to be secure in our relationship with God and know that He is in control.
