  • Nervous System Regulation & Reconnecting With Your Body - Why Mindset Work Isn’t Always Enough

We can understand our patterns, read all the books, and do years of personal work - and still find ourselves reacting in familiar ways. How can reconnecting with our bodies help us create new experiences?

In this episode of Living in Motion, we explore nervous system regulation, building nervous system capacity, and bringing self-awareness into our everyday choices. Stay until the end for a guided body awareness and gentle movement practice to put this exploration into experience.

Through personal stories of relationships, boundaries, motherhood, and travelling with my young son, I share what helped me begin responding differently to the discomfort of change.

    Together, we explore:

    • Why understanding our patterns doesn’t automatically change how we feel or respond

    • The distinction between regulating our nervous system and expanding our capacity to be with uncomfortable emotions

    • Learning to recognise when triggers call for a boundary - and when they accompany growth

    • Creating a pause between feeling triggered and falling into an automatic response

    • Using movement, breath, and dance to connect with what is present in our bodies

This is an invitation to listen more closely to ourselves and explore what becomes possible when we have more room to feel, respond, and choose.

    Join the practice

At the end, I guide you through a body - awareness practice noticing sensations, connecting with our bodily cues, and exploring gentle, intuitive movement - at your own pace.

  • The Endless Search for Aliveness: Why Nothing Ever Feels Like Enough

On chasing love, freedom and fulfillment - and remembering what has always been within us.

How much of our lives do we spend searching for something we believe is missing? The right person, the next adventure, a new place, a different version of ourselves?

In this episode, I share a small but powerful moment that reminded me of something I've been discovering throughout my own journey: what if we don't need to become someone else to feel whole?

We explore the ways we chase aliveness, outsource our happiness, and sometimes use new experiences to escape the feelings we haven't yet allowed ourselves to feel. We talk about relationships, inner freedom, grief, desire, and the difference between running away from something and moving towards life.

Because being truly alive isn't just about joy, passion and excitement. It's about making space for the full spectrum of being human - and remembering that we are already so much more than we think we are.

Maybe nothing is missing. Maybe it's time to remember.

    In this episode, we explore:

    • Why we keep searching for the next person, place or experience to make us feel alive

    • The difference between chasing something to fill a void and choosing growth from a place of wholeness

    • How we can unknowingly hand our power over to other people and external circumstances

    • What relationships and new experiences can teach us about ourselves

    • Why aliveness includes grief, sadness, loss and discomfort, not just joy and excitement

    • How dance and reconnecting with our bodies can help us feel, process and integrate what we've been carrying

    • The difference between running away from what we feel and moving towards the life we truly want

    • And what becomes possible when we stop searching for what we believe is missing and start remembering what has always been within us

  • Depression, Self-Abandonment & Finding Our Way Back to Life

What happens when we become disconnected from ourselves for so long that our body starts demanding our attention?

In this deeply personal episode, I share my experience with depression at 25 - but this isn’t only a story about me. It’s an invitation to look at the ways we abandon ourselves, ignore our body’s signals, stay in relationships or environments that no longer nourish us, and become identified with stories about who we are.

We talk about depression, self-worth, relationships, family patterns, motherhood, dance, and the courage it can take to change the life we’re living.

Because sometimes finding our way back to ourselves isn’t about becoming someone new.

It’s about remembering who we were underneath it all.

    In this episode, we explore:

    • What happens when we become disconnected from ourselves
    • The ways we abandon ourselves to maintain love, belonging or connection
    • How the body can communicate what we haven’t yet found words for
    • The beliefs that shape how we see ourselves, relationships and what is possible for us
    • Why understanding something intellectually doesn’t necessarily mean we’re able to live it
    • How movement and dance can create experiences that talking alone sometimes cannot
    • The influence of family patterns and the environments we live in
    • What it means to take ownership of our lives without turning that into self-blame
    • The discomfort that comes with changing the life we’ve known
    • And ultimately, how we can begin creating lives that feel more truthful, nourishing and alive

  • What is moving you? And are you living a life that feels like yours?

Welcome to the very first episode of Living in Motion.

In this opening episode, I share why I felt called to create this podcast and what lies at its heart: exploring what truly makes us feel alive and what it means to create a life that truly moves us - a life that feels like our own, rather than one shaped by expectations and conditioning.

I share a little of my own journey - from depression and deep disconnection to discovering dance, movement and the wisdom of my body, and eventually finding the courage to question the life I thought I was supposed to live.

This is an invitation to listen more deeply, trust your inner knowing and take the next step toward what is calling you.

    Because clarity comes in motion.
