💥 Join me today on the podcast (link below) as I exhort: No matter what you’re going through, remember Christ suffered more!! The Bible tells us, “Whoever pursues righteousness and love finds life, prosperity, and honor” (Proverbs 21:21). To live righteously is to conduct one’s life in an upright manner and with moral standards that reflect our relationship with the Lord. As representatives of the Kingdom of God in all that we do, we should mirror Christ’s ways. This means in the face of evil, deceit, treachery, and lies we do what is right ALWAYS! Even if you want to enact revenge, stay on the path that leads to eternal life. Remember, we are to love and bless our enemies!
"To live for righteousness" means to intentionally pursue a life that aligns with God's moral standards, actively seeking to do what is right and just in all aspects of your life, essentially mirroring the character of Christ and living following His teachings; it signifies a conscious decision to prioritize ethical behavior and a commitment to living a life that reflects God's holiness, not just for personal gain but to honor Him in all actions.
No one enjoys being taken advantage of, but we do not pay evil for evil nor do we curse our foes. We must at all times give it to the One who will enact revenge and deal with the children of disobedience. We remain faithful, and obedient and continue in righteousness even when the “flesh” wants to do the contrary!
In the time of temptation, test, and trial, keep this in your hearts: 1 Peter 2:24 "He personally carried our sins in His body on the cross [willingly offering Himself on it, as on an altar of sacrifice], so that we might die to sin [becoming immune from the penalty and power of sin] and live for righteousness; for by His wounds you [who believe] have been [healed]. 25 For you were continually wandering like [so many] sheep, but now you have come back to the Shepherd and Guardian of your souls.
Lord Jesus is the Keeper of your soul and never forget He died and suffered on your behalf so that you are no longer slaves to sin, but to righteousness!
Amen! 🎯 REPENT and BELIEVE and TURN back to God!
