You do not want God.
You do not want Peace.
You do not want Awareness.
You do not want Liberation, Enlightenment.
What you actually want is to fulfill your requirements, desires (almost effortlessly).
What you want is-no problems tinkering your mind or the problems should be resolved as you want.
Uncertainty makes you anxious, stressed.
Can one clearly see this as a fact?
Instead of seeing what one actually wants, one is busy in seeking stable relief through addition to possessions, relations, ideas. This relief is the illusion. Even when we get what we want, we remain perturbed as our demand for stable relief is not met. We never question this demand.

Some desire (lack, shortage) will emerge as brain understands, operates only in terms of desire and fulfillment.
Seeing this clearly, puts you on the self-sustained ground. The illusion keeps one trapped, waiting as if fulfillment of any desire (addition to possessions or the idea of God) will take it to a fulfilled, satisfactory, stationary state.
One can think, plan, calculate. The error is that one wants to feel comfortable about result, about future now. The need for securing this comfort saps one’s energy. When this comfort is seen as illusory, imagination becomes clear. One sees living as a play between imagination and reality-the total field.
