Lisa Stevens has more than 28 years of experience working with teen moms.  In 2003 she cofounded Colorado and has served as the founder and executive Director ever since. Under Lisa’s leadership Hope House has reached new levels and growth that, with a budget of over 3.5 million, puts the organization in the top 10% of nonprofits in the United States.  Hope house has also received the governors service award for outstanding nonprofit organization in Colorado in 2015 and was named the Arvada nonprofit organization of the year in 2018, all under Lisa’s leadership.  Lisa is also a cofounder of the Colorado teen parent collaborative (TPC) and serves on the board of the Arvada chamber.  In 2013 Lisa was named the Arvada woman of the year for her contributions to the community.  The teen mops handbook and worked with mops international on their strategic plan for expanding the ministry of teen mops.  Lisa is the author of a place to belong a book that shares the miracle of hope house while encouraging women in their leadership journey.  As a former teen mom, Lisa is committed to empowering teen moms in their community and across the world.

Lorraine Bandimere is a second generation Denver native.  As an only child, she attended various schools K-12 graduating in 1959 from Wheat Ridge high school.  Employment included babysitting, Montgomery Ward will call, Fairmount cemetery and floral department, Wheat Ridge bowling lanes, Denver US national Bank, Bandimere Auto and Bandimere Speedway.  Married 63 years, raised three children, blessed with eight grandkids,and in 2024 we will have 10 greats total.  Enjoying family time in any way or fashion our home of 56 years friends, travel and volunteering is several areas of the family business now enjoying the golden years and checking off her bucket list.

For over 60 years, John Bandimere Jr. was the driving force behind the successful Bandemere Speedway team as the second generation owner and operator of the quarter mile, dragstrip, founded by his parents west of Denver.  Originally called the Safty proving Grounds of America and built as a location for testing the limits of the automobile in a safe environment, especially for young people, the NHRA sanctioned speedway was known as “ Thunder Mountain”.  The mountain went quiet in 2024 as the Bandimere family made the decision to sell the iconic foothills location.  John’s most recent title has been CSO-chief spiritual officer- a unique title that gives him the ability to cultivate significant relationships with those he meets.
