Brenda Cortez is a 14 year living kidney donor and children’s book author.

She has a passion for helping others. She was inspired to write her first book, “My Mom is Having Surgery”, after her daughter centered her college entrance essay around her kidney donation and is now a strong advocate for living donation awareness.
