This year we’re honoring legends while they’re here. No more waiting til they’re gone to celebrate their music. So I’m starting a new bi-monthly mix series “Living Legends”. First up is the greatest living hip hop producer @djpremier. His influence on hip hop is unmatched. There is no “boom bap” sound with out him. There’s no “golden era” without him. As a kid I remember hearing his signature scratch hooks and thinking “yeah I wanna do that”. He’s inspired countless other djs just like me. Enjoy!
