What if midlife isn't the beginning of becoming less relevant?
What if this is actually the point where experience, confidence, purpose, and freedom finally start meeting each other?
In this episode of Living Midlife in Color, I'm talking about the identity shift nobody warned me about: questioning what I really want, caring less about other people's opinions, redefining what it means to be "in your prime," and figuring out who I am when nobody hands me a syllabus for what comes next.
Because midlife is about a lot more than hormones.
Maybe you're not becoming a different woman.
Maybe you're finally becoming more aware of the woman who was already there.

My first mammogram changed the way I think about breast cancer.
In this episode of Living Midlife in Color, I’m sharing what it felt like to go from being the provider telling women to get screened to becoming the patient waiting on my own results.
We’re talking about breast cancer beyond the pink ribbon, including warning signs beyond a lump, dense breasts, risk, younger women, racial disparities, healthcare barriers, and why some women are still being left behind.
Because awareness is not enough if women still don’t feel heard, informed, or able to access care.
Living Midlife in Color is where women don’t fade into the background and the code never switches.

Living Midlife in Color is about navigating the midlife identity crisis, and making sure women who have felt overlooked finally feel seen and heard.
Hosted by Family Nurse…
We’ll share the thoughts, fears, questions, and experiences we don't always say out loud, hear different perspectives, and figure out what still fits and what we're finally ready to leave behind. Some of those millennial habits can stay right back in the 2000s.
Because this isn't simply about getting through midlife. It's about gaining new perspectives, reinventing ourselves when we need to, and figuring out how we actually want to live this next chapter.
Same woman. New chapter.
