Your diet is arguably the most powerful tool with which to exert control over your health. So in this weeks podcast we take a look at the most important principles you can uses to guide your eating choices. Some of these, such as toxicity avoidance, should also be used to guide all of your other lifestyle choices as well.

But fear not! There is no need to see this as a permanent end or restriction to your eating pleasure. You can always schedule in indulgence days appropriate to your level of accomplishment. Thinking in Principles

The rational man or woman will naturally want to consciously use principles to guide their actions. We have no choice about using principles to guide action. Our only choice is which ones guide us and whether or not we are conscious of them. Thinking in principles is a key part of increasing the efficiency of our thinking and improving the quality and consistency of our actions towards the ultimate goal of a successful happy human experience.

 

In any and every issue you need to know the truth if you are to stand any chance of success. Whether you are trying to lose weight, plan your financial security, trying to figure out how to be healthy and happy, you need to know the truth.

But what does it rest on? What premises must we hold to even form the concept meaningfully. What are the foundations on which the idea of truth rests? These are the questions addressed in this weeks episode of Living outside the Matrix. And knowing these fundamental ideas helps us identify which ideas destroy or undermine the concept of truth.

If you haven’t already read the post “What is truth?” It would be helpful to do so before proceeding here, or in conjunction with this Podcast Episode.

The word ‘truth’ is a linguistic label representing a conceptual idea. That conceptual idea is the identification of that which is real. In order to distinguish the real from the unreal you must necessarily begin with the idea of what is ‘real’. Only then can you distinguish it from the unreal. To ask ‘what is real?’ is to pose the most fundamental philosophical question. So we can see that truth is an inherently philosophical concept, and we must necessarily get philosophical if we are to discuss it and understand it, and therefore be able to discern it and use it.

The concept of truth necessarily rests on four antecedent concepts that together constitute its genetic roots. To  understand the concept of truth you must grasp, recognise and consciously accept these four foundational concepts. Conversely, the rejection of any one of these four ideas is to empty the concept of truth of any meaning.

1. Reality is an objective absolute

The concept of truth begins with the recognition of reality. Existence exists independent of your consciousness. It is not a swirling mist of chaotic probability in which your mind can influence the outcome. You do not create reality with your consciousness, it was here already before you arrived. And it continues to exist independent of any of your wishes or desires. It exists independent of any consciousness, human or supernatural. But this is not to say that your mind has no influence. It has a huge effect on your experience, and it also has a profound effect on water.

This issue is the very first question in philosophy. Either reality is objective or it is subjective, no other alternative is possible. Either it is the object of consciousness or it is the subject. This is also stated as the primacy of existence versus the primacy of consciousness.

You would have a hard time demonstrating that consciousness creates reality because it doesn’t, and very few philosophers would even attempt to claim it. But this is not to deny that the mind has some degree of control over the body and your experiences. However, many refute the objective nature of reality without acknowledging that subjectivism is the only alternative. Subjectivism is not embraced openly as a philosophy, but rather implicitly as a vague and undefined psychological escape clause that enables people to deny that facts are facts and that actions have consequences when it is convenient to do so.

These days it is very popular to believe that consciousness creates reality, that you create your own reality, but the major problem with this idea is that it destroys the concept of truth! Why? because if it were so, then everybody’s claims would be true, Which would have to mean that contradictions could exist. But we know that contradictions cannot exist in Nature – only in the minds of men.

In this weeks podcast I am joined by Roslyn Ross, an author and fellow fan of the ideas of Ayn Rand. We discussed her new children’s book “City Family Farm Family” and the personal story of living half the year on a farm and the other half in a city. Roslyn spends part of the year on her farm in Nicaragua, and the rest in the city of Los Angeles.

We went on to discuss whether or not the Philosophy of Rand will survive in the context of the advancing collectivist global state. Individualism is giving way to collectivism and this can bee seen throughout western civilisation. The question is whether the core ideas of objectivism can help? Or, must they go underground until the collapse of our freedom is complete and the dust settles. Then, could reason once again emerge as the single guiding principle of genuine knowledge.

We certainly have different views. I remain convinced that rational thinking is an evolutionary advantage. Even when the rational man is surrounded by collectivists and thugs his reason will still lead him to conduct his affairs appropriately. And lets also remember that even the collectivists themselves need to use their faculty of reason to grow food, produce goods, build shelters, etc, when there is nothing left to loot.

Ross is a little more pessimistic, noting that intellectual conversations are increasingly out of fashion, people no longer read as much as they used to, and that the practice of objectivist ideas is more likely to end your genetic line than advance it! The core argument being that it all depends on the context of the group you are in. I say, the savvy objectivist isn’t in a group, but always looks for like minded people. Being an individualist does not mean that you shun other rational people in order to go it alone on your selfish path.

Roslyn has written a post script explanation of the points she was making in the conversation. I reproduce them here.

“If you listen to the podcast I want to explain something that I don’t think is very clear: For me, humanity flourishes under individualism. I define “human flourishing” by the incredible things we have invented. The ultimate in human flourishing, in my opinion, would be getting off planet Earth, so that our eggs aren’t all in one basket. There is no social system that has been invented in the history of humanity that encourages this better than individualism and capitalism, and therefore I support those things. I support meritocracy in which the best and brightest are propelled to the top and encouraged to build their visions. I support inequality of outcomes in which the best and brightest get extra resources to build their visions which often better the lives of all humans. To me, “bettering the lives of all humans” means inventing awesome new things and getting us off this planet.

What I am arguing in this podcast is that the majority of the people on Earth do not agree with me. The majority of people on Earth are collectivists. They define human flourishing as their group being on top, whatever that takes and whatever that means and however much suffering is required of other groups to get their group there.

Collectivists play a game in which they pretend that they care about all of humanity. They acquire more power for their group by defining human flourishing as equality of outcomes. They claim–and get many to believe–that human flourishing means harnessing the power of the best and brightest to care for the worst and weakest. It means taxing to death the high earners and using that money to support the lazy and the stupid....

The concepts of health and disease are intimately related, and together they are of crucial importance to every one of us. But these concepts have been hijacked and are being misrepresented to bring about global governance and collectivist tyranny while doing nothing to support genuine health. If we look at the current model (or paradigm) of these concepts we can identify what is wrong with it. If we then compare it with the new emerging paradigm we can see that the solution lies in embracing the new paradigm.

The danger of clinging to the old model is that many will rush into the arms of the state and its so-called ‘health care’ system which does not help anyone to be healthy. As well as adding to dependency on the state, this will soon mean getting vaccinated to qualify for ‘care’, resulting in a fatal blow to health and to freedom.

The mainstream model of health and disease

The conventional mainstream way of regarding health and disease sets us at war with nature and the natural environment. It is a model that locks us into eternal combat with bacteria, fungi and other microbes based on an unproven assumption of germ theory.

Furthermore, it’s a model of helplessness for the individual. It ensures dependence on big pharmaceutical corporations and national “healthcare” systems. It supports disease management as opposed to prevention or cure. The solutions are alleged to be expensive drugs, expensive medical interventions, along with expensive vaccinations to “protect” from us from allegedly deadly infectious diseases. It destroys self-reliance and generates huge profits for its practitioners at your expense.

This whole approach neatly ties pharmaceutical corporations to their prime customers – national health care systems such as the NHS in the UK. Your government then takes your money in the form of taxation to buy all the expensive “treatments”. It must be noted that this tag team of big business with the state is the essence of fascism and is the perfect set up for corruption and control of populations. But maybe I am getting ahead of myself.

Reasons to reject the mainstream health care model

There are very specific and easy to grasp reasons that this conventional approach to health and disease must be rejected. And this means avoiding your conventional doctor apart from maybe getting a diagnosis.

It doesn’t work

For a start, it treats symptoms with drugs. This is simply wrong for three very important reasons. Firstly, it does not address the cause of the illness. Secondly, drugs have a wide range of effects on the body, most of which are detrimental. One is singled out and championed as the “cure” for that symptom, while the rest are put in small print and called side-effects. These side effects invariably cause harm. And thirdly, it supports a system of disease management rather prevention or cure.

The second fundamental problem with the mainstream paradigm is that it holds that disease is directly linked to (if not caused by) genetics. This approach disregards the role of the environmental toxicity as a cause and supports the position of ignoring the toxicity in food and agriculture, the water supply, sun cream, and as a result of EMF exposure, etc,. and carry on prescribing toxic drugs to alleviate only symptoms. Furthermore, this supports the idea of the ‘inevitability’ of disease. Its in your genes there is nothing you can do.

The mainstream conventional approach treats many common ailments with antibiotics [Greek meaning anti-life] killing off bacteria almost indiscriminately on the assumption that they are causing a problem. The result is a huge reduction in the number and diversity of gut microbes. This (anti-life) approach rests on the assumption of germ theory...

In case you haven’t yet heard of it technocracy is about the end game of societal control. It’s about the brave new world that is already here but with its most unpalatable characteristics still concealed. Technocracy is about the end of human freedom and individualism, and the imposition of collective slavery by a parasite class. The examination of technocracy in this weeks episode of Living outside the Matrix is a dot joining exercise to assemble an intelligible BIG picture so that you can understand what has happened, know what to expect, and know what to do about it.

There is no hope of defeating an enemy that remains unidentified, and the means to identify it are not hidden, nor are they conspiracy theory. All the documentation and the facts are out there to be seen and understood by anyone who wishes to know. The sad reality is that too few people want to know.

What is technocracy?

To know what technocracy is look no further than those ‘technocrats’ who came up with the concept and wrote about it their own publication “The Technocrat” back in 1938.

“Technocracy is the science of social engineering, the scientific operation of the entire social mechanism to produce and distribute goods and services to the entire population… For the first time in human history this will be done as a scientific, engineering and technical problem”.

They went on to say…

“There will be no place for politics, politicians, finance or financiers, rackets or racketeers… Technocracy will distribute by means of a certificate of distribution available to every citizen from birth to death.”

Social engineering is defined as “the use of centralized planning in an attempt to manage social change and regulate the future development and behaviour of a society.”

Notice that for any one group to presume to manage social change towards any particular goal is to impose that change on everyone else. Even if the central planners claim to be engineering things for the so-called “greater good” why should they be trusted to know whats good for others better than those people themselves? If we value freedom we must recognize that society is a collection of individuals and that each individual must be free to act on his own judgment. This is fundamentally opposed to managing the future development of those individual choices or the behaviour of those individuals. The concept of social engineering is fundamentally anti-freedom!

We must remind ourselves what are we trying to achieve? What sort of future do we want to see? If we want freedom, peace and abundance then social engineering is a non-starter! We don’t want to see deception, manipulation, control, of the social engineers over the rest of the population. We need to see respect for rights and to understand what they are.

Technocracy – scientific or ‘scientism’

Technocracy claims to be based in science, but this is just the spin, the branding and public relations exercise, the propaganda! Technocracy uses the concept of science as a cloak to conceal its true nature which is more akin to a religion. For example, their alleged science that declares CO2 a problem and warms us all of a bogus climate emergency induced by human activity. This is false, the idea is contradicted by the facts of reality, yet it perfectly serves their narrative and the well funded propaganda over decades has delivered the appropriate result in the minds of the masses.

The trump card was played with the alleged pandemic. The story of a dangerous deadly virus threatening us all, that no one is safe and we must all be protected from infected people.

There are popular ideas that are widely held that are road blocks to freedom. And, in fact, support the advancing totalitarian state. Ideas are powerful, they motivate us. The ideas that people hold as true determine their behaviour, their attitudes, what they will tolerate and what they will not, and the values they pursue.

And ideas take time to be assimilated and acted upon. There is a necessary delay between being exposed to an idea and acting upon it. This holds true for large groups, nations and civilsations as well as individuals. So by observing ideas that are widely held today, you can predict the future behaviour of individuals or entire nations to some extent.

Ideas that prevent freedom

Currently, there are a great many ideas predominantly held as true in our western culture that stand in the way of freedom – that prevent freedom, that negate the possibility of freedom. In this weeks Podcast I outline 3 of them.

Altruism is good

Altruism is the idea that self-sacrifice is good, you are your brother’s keeper. It is the idea that helping others is a moral duty. To do things for self is bad, to do things for others is good. To keep for yourself is bad, to give to others is good.

Altruism says that you do not have the right to live for your own sake, which would mean investing all of your efforts towards the success of your own life and your own happiness. Altruism says that you have a duty to the group, to the tribe, to the collective. Altruism says it is wrong to focus on self because you have a moral duty to sacrifice your values to those in greater need than you.

Altruism is the antithesis of freedom and the morality of slavery. If you are morally bound to keep giving up your values to the group or to some ‘other’ then you are not free to live the life you want. You are not able to act on your own judgment to pursue your own rational self-interest.

Altruism fosters the predisposition to give up values and is the perfect idea to underpin statism, collectivism, communism, slavery.

While this ideas is widely held as true freedom has no chance. This idea is very widely entrenched in western culture and shows no sign of going away any time soon.

Capitalism is evil

Another idea that is very widely held as true is that capitalism is the source of our economic problems and not any kind of solution. We see anti-capitalist demonstrations and we do not see pro-capitalism rallies. Capitalism is not understood by the vast majority of people and this is a testament to the triumph of propaganda over genuine education.

Most people think of fat cats, greed and exploitation when they hear the word, yet capitalism is,in fact, the solution the problem of man’s freedom. It is the only sociopolitical system that respects property rights. Capitalism holds that you own your own life, your own body and all of the results of your productive effort.

It is the only system in which a genuinely voluntary society is possible, where people would not be coerced or forced into any action against their will. Yet it does not throw out the rule of law. It is the only socioeconomic system that declares man free and supports the non-aggression principle in all human interactions. Capitalism respects your right to choose, it doesn’t force you to do anything, it allows you to act on your own judgment.

Mysticism – the idea that belief in things without reasons or evidence is OK

Mysticism is another widely held idea in western culture. again handed down from the religions and embedded into human consciousness for millennia – just like Altruism.  The implicit idea is that reasons are unnecessary. There is no need for proof, evidence logic or reason… you simply believe what you choose to believe. In fact, some mystics say that you need to believe before you can know.

Conclusions

Buckle up for a crazy ride, and make sure you have whatever spare assets you may be fortunate enough to possess spread across a range of options – such a cryptos, precious metals, hard assets and cash. Whether or not any hard core resistance is coming there are challenging times ahead for all of us.

 

When I interviewed Mark Steele about 5G on this Podcast a year ago, he made claims about it being used as a weapons system.  I recently learned from a Youtuber in Minnesota, Mc Toon (pictured left), that many of these claims are false.

In this weeks episode of the Podcast we set the record straight and have an interesting conversation about Various aerial configurations, transmission power levels, electromagnetic fields and 5G, and sort out why it is dangerous and why it is not.

MC Toon has a regular show at 8 pm Central (US) time where he debates “flat Earthers”. demolishing their flimsy and ill considered ‘arguments’ for a disc world view. He is a rational man looking for the evidence to support any claim. I am not sure if he is a de-bunker in general and a mainstream man, or whether his mind is open to considering the wider agenda. However, it is essential that we correct false claims and always be prepared to re-question any conclusions we my have formed in the light of new evidence.

In all of our interactions with other people it obviously makes good sense to use effective communication. Without it we run the risk of the interaction failing and the message not getting through. Isolation, hurt, pain and frustration are usually the result. Good communication skills are in everyone’s rational self-interest.

In this weeks podcast I interview Ron De Brito, a practitioner and advocate of Non Violent Communication (NVC), and we discuss ways in which this approach can facilitate better communication.

The technique was first pioneered by Marshall Rosenburg and has attracted many advocates. However, it is important to appreciate that NVC is not a formula for all communications. As always context determines appropriate action. For many situation this technique will not be appropriate.

One of the central principles of NVC is that communication must move beyond the concepts of right and wrong. Sometimes this is appropriate, but clearly not as a catch all principle of communication. This is where the work of the truth seeker and thinker must be done. Questions must be asked, such as: What is the context? What method of communication is appropriate in this case?

Caveats

The concepts of right and wrong are central to all successful human life, and as truth seekers we are aware of this and focused on it with the concept of truth. But we must also bear in mind that communication fails when one person involved feels attacked or unduly judged. It all depends on context. There is a phrase used to promote the idea of NVC wish goes…

“Beyond ideas of right and wrong, there is a field. I will meet you there”

I advocate caution here, and respectfully remind potential users of NVC to always bear in mind the context. Right and wrong should be subordinated to communication only where appropriate otherwise we are throwing out the baby with the bath water!

It is similar with the idea of respecting people’s feelings. Obviously in delicate communication situations feelings must be acknowledged and respected. However, if we are not careful here we can fall prey to political correctness, which is the elevation of feelings above rational thought. And also we must remember that thinking is our means to knowledge, not feeling. As long as we are aware of these things, of course, being aware of the feeling of the one we are communicating with is very important.

Having said that, I still hold that NVC can be a very useful tool in improving our communication skills.
