YOU ARE A THREE-PART PERSON

(Ezekiel 36:26, NKJV) I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.

· You Live in a Body

(1 Corinthians 6:19, NKJV) Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, Whom you have from God, and you are not your own.


(3 John 2, NKJV) Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.


THE BATTLEFIELD OF THE MIND


Enemy #1: The devil.

(James 4:7-8, NKJV) Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.


Enemy #2: The temptations of the world.

(Romans 12:2, NLT) Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.


(1 John 2:15-17, NKJV) Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world.
