(Psalm 92:13 NKJV) Those who are planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.
FIND YOUR TRIBE.
(Hebrews 10:25, NLT) And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.
Get in THE HOUSE.
· The church is like a flock of sheep.
(Matthew 9:36, NLT) When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them because they were confused and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.
· The church is like a family.
(Galatians 6:10, NKJV) Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.
· The church is like a hospital.
(2 Corinthians 1:3-4, NLT) All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us.
· The church is like a gas station.
(Hebrews 10:25, MSG) Let’s keep a firm grip on the promises that keep us going. He always keeps His word. Let’s see how inventive we can be in encouraging love and helping out, not avoiding worshiping together as some do but spurring each other on, especially as we see the big Day approaching.
· The church is like an army.
(2 Timothy 2:3-4, NKJV) You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier.
· The church is like a team.
(Philippians 2:2-4, NLT) Then make me truly happy by agreeing wholeheartedly with each other, loving one another, and working together with one mind and purpose. Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too.
Jesus said, “...upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it,” Matthew 16:18.
LET LOVE HAVE THE FINAL WORD.
