Hey Friends and Family of TCC! We’re so glad you made the effort and took the time to join us this weekend. We’re in a series of messages called the Good Life. Jesus said, “I have come to give life in all its fullness.” We believe He meant it, and that it’s possible today to experience the fullness He offers. In this series, we’re learning some of the basics of what the Good Life actually is and how we can attain it.Today, as part of our celebration, we’re going to look at the foundation for the Good Life, and at the end of our service we will observe Communion together. One of the last things Jesus did before His crucifixion was to establish a time when we would gather and remember the sacrifice He made for us on the cross. If you’re not yet a Follower of Jesus, it’s our prayer that today you would be willing to say “YES” to His offer of forgiveness, cleansing and freedom. If you do, then the Communion time can be rich and full of deep meaning and even cleansing. If you haven’t yet, we ask you to let the Communion trays pass without taking the juice or bread. Observing Communion has led many people to a place of personal commitment as they were able to see into the life of a person who has placed his or her faith in Jesus.I hope that you will let today speak to you as we focus on the foundation of the Good Life for our lives. This life begins when we establish Jesus Christ as the leader and ruler of our lives. It’s our prayer that you would come to know Him today.I’ve selected several books that will help give more context to today’s message. You can check them out in the Pastor’s Picks section of our Next Step Bookstore. You can also pick up some Lanna Coffee. All sales go to help the Northern Hill Tribes of Thailand and support our Student Ministries Scholarship Fund.Loving the Good Life,Pastor Ron
