The Scriptures teach that believers have been given the victory. Not that we someday will be given the victory but that we possess victory.  Believers are not fighting for victory but they are fighting from the victory side.  "The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.  But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." I Corinthians 15:56, 57

Sin has no more dominion over believers, at times we may subject ourselves to sin and the bondage of sin but the work of Christ on the cross defeated sin and the power of sin.  As the children of Israel left the bondage of Egypt with a high hand, believers are instructed to live thier lives by the HIGH HAND Principle.
