Christ was raised so we were raised and we were raised to live a new life in Him and through His resurrection...therefore we are different because of His/our resurrection. In fact, the Matthew reading reads “then go quickly and tell His disciples that He is risen...” again, suggesting that the resurrection moves us to action.
