In relationships, there are always differences. And of course, there are things that you agree on but apart from that, there are matters that you need to make a decision on as a couple. Life isn’t always a bed of roses, there are highs and lows, and it is during those low moments that your resolve to make things work is tested.
It is never easy, but if you are coming from a belief of bringing out the best in each other, complementing each other, and truly supporting and caring for each other, then no amount of challenge can stop you from overcoming them.
Kelly Babb is a former elite-level soccer player. She is also a kinesiology graduate but after school, she went the opposite direction. She now organizes sporting events for Sport Manitoba. And essentially she oversees all the logistics of the behind the scenes action for provincial athletes or provincial teams when they go to compete at events. She is also Gavin’s fiance.
In this episode, Kelly talks about the dynamics of their relationship as a couple. With different interests and passions in life, Gavin leaning more toward entrepreneurship while she gets busy with a nine to five job, they kind of set up boundaries and expectations of each other when it comes to their respective work and their personal time together. The financial matter is one issue you have to deal with as a couple, be it big or small, you need to decide on it, anyway.
